Mad Music, created by Chase Jamison, uses the information described here to run the website, fulfill purchases, provide support, and send email you request. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@madmusic.band.

Purchases and support

We keep purchase email addresses, ordered products, payment totals and currency, order and payment references, payment/refund status, email delivery status, and support records. Stripe processes payment details and may collect billing and tax information under its own terms. Full card numbers are not stored in the Mad Music website’s order database.

Resend sends purchase/download emails and private support sign-in codes. It reports delivery, delays, bounces and other failures so we can help with missing emails. A purchase does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Newsletter, freebies, and course interest

Kit manages newsletter and course email subscriptions. Signup information can include your email, name, preferences, confirmation status and subscription source. Freebie delivery requires newsletter signup and email confirmation. Kit may also record email engagement, such as opens and link activity, when those features are enabled. You can unsubscribe through the link in those emails.

The preliminary course questionnaire uses Google Forms and Google Sheets. The answers you submit are used to understand course interest and preferences. The form connects the email address and name you provide, with your consent, to the Kit course confirmation flow. Course interest and newsletter preferences are handled separately. Please do not submit private information about students.

Hosting, browser storage, and external content

Cloudflare hosts the website and privately stores order records, backups, and downloadable files. Hosting and security systems can process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser details and request times.

Your browser saves cart contents locally and keeps a checkout request reference to avoid duplicate checkout attempts. Private owner support uses a temporary sign-in cookie. These are used for site functions. Locally hosted fonts do not require an Adobe Fonts connection.

Embedded YouTube and SoundCloud content and links to Google, Kit, Stripe, social networks, merchandise stores and other websites may use their own cookies and collect information under their own policies. Embedded videos and audio on this site load when you choose to play or load them. External sites and Mad miniFM may have separate privacy notices.

Sharing and retention

We share information with the services above as needed to provide these features, and when required to meet legal obligations or address fraud and disputes. We do not sell the mailing list. Purchase, support, consent and backup records are retained as needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, security and legal obligations.

You can ask us to access, correct or delete information by emailing us. We may need to verify your request and retain records that are required for purchases, accounting, disputes or other legal obligations. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails but does not remove records needed to support your purchases.
